A) There is an estimated Service Charge of £500 per annum
Q) What is it for?
A) The Service Charge covers external maintenance, gardening, common
area lighting etc.
Q) Are there any restrictions associated with the apartment?
A) There are no restrictions
Q) What is the tenure and how long does it last?
A) - Leashold 999 years from 1st January 2007
- upon the sale of the last
apartment the freehold will be transfered to the leaseholders, each owning 1/8th
Q) Who is responsible for maintenance?
A) The service charge covers all maintenance to external areas and
bulding externals, you only need to look after the internals of your apartment.
Q) Do I have to pay local authority rates?
A) Yes, Band c £1,243.70 (2008 - 9) as per Caradon District Council
charges.
Q) How am I charged for water and electricity?
A) Each apartment has its own metered supplies.
Q) What about car parking?
A) Each apartment has alloted parking.
Q) Do I have to pay insurance?
A) You only have to insure the internals of your apartment. Building insurance is charged to each leaseholder at the rate of 1/8th of the yearly premium.
